🕋 Step-by-Step Guide to Performing Umrah (Bengali to English)







🔹 ā§§. āχāĻšāϰাāĻŽ āĻŦাঁāϧা (Ihram – Intention & Preparation)

āĻŦাংāϞা:
āχāĻšāϰাāĻŽ āĻŦাঁāϧাāϰ āφāĻ—ে āĻ—োāϏāϞ/āĻ…āϜু āĻ•āϰে āĻĻুāχ āϟুāĻ•āϰো āϏাāĻĻা āĻ•াāĻĒ⧜ āĻĒāϰāϤে āĻšā§Ÿ (āĻĒুāϰুāώāĻĻেāϰ āϜāύ্āϝ)। āύাāϰীāϰা āϤাāĻĻেāϰ āϏ্āĻŦাāĻ­াāĻŦিāĻ• āχāϏāϞাāĻŽি āĻĒāϰ্āĻĻা āĻŽেāύে āĻĒোāĻļাāĻ• āĻĒāϰāĻŦে।

English:
Before entering the state of Ihram, perform ghusl (ritual bath) or wudu (ablution).

  • Men wear two white unstitched sheets (Rida & Izar).

  • Women wear any modest Islamic clothing (no specific color or type is required).

✅ āύি⧟āϤ / Niyyah:

Arabic:

"Ø§Ų„Ų„Ų‡Ų… Ų„Ø¨ŲŠŲƒ ØšŲ…ØąØŠ"
English Translation:
"O Allah, I intend to perform Umrah."

Then recite the Talbiyah:

Arabic:

“Labbayk Allahumma labbayk, labbayka la sharika laka labbayk. Innal-hamda wan-ni‘mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika lak.”

Meaning:

“Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, You have no partner. To You belongs all praise, all blessings, and all sovereignty. You have no partner.”


🔹 ⧍. āĻšাāϰাāĻŽে āĻĒ্āϰāĻŦেāĻļ (Entering Masjid al-Haram)

āĻŦাংāϞা:
āĻĄাāύ āĻĒা āĻĻি⧟ে āĻŽāϏāϜিāĻĻে āĻšাāϰাāĻŽে āĻĒ্āϰāĻŦেāĻļ āĻ•āϰুāύ āĻāĻŦং āĻĻো⧟া āĻĒ⧜ুāύ।

English:
Enter Masjid al-Haram with your right foot and recite:

Arabic:

“Allahumma iftah li abwaba rahmatik”
Translation:
“O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.”


🔹 ā§Š. āϤাāĻ“ā§ŸাāĻĢ āĻ•āϰা (Tawaf – Circling the Kaaba)

āĻŦাংāϞা:
āĻ•াāĻŦা āĻļāϰীāĻĢেāϰ āϚাāϰāĻĒাāĻļে ā§­ āĻŦাāϰ āϘোāϰাāϰ āύাāĻŽ āϤাāĻ“ā§ŸাāĻĢ। āĻļুāϰু āĻ•āϰāĻŦেāύ āĻšাāϜāϰে āφāϏāĻ“ā§ŸাāĻĻ āĻĨেāĻ•ে।

English:
Tawaf means walking around the Kaaba seven times, starting and ending at the Black Stone (Hajr Aswad).

  • Raise your hand and say “Bismillah Allahu Akbar” at the start of each round.

  • For each circuit, recite du’as, dhikr, or any supplication.

  • Men should do Ramal (walk briskly) in the first 3 rounds and keep right shoulder uncovered (Idtiba).

  • Complete 7 rounds counterclockwise around the Kaaba.


🔹 ā§Ē. āĻĻুāχ āϰাāĻ•াāϤ āύাāĻŽাāϜ (2 Rakat Salah behind Maqam Ibrahim)

āĻŦাংāϞা:
āϤাāĻ“ā§ŸাāĻĢ āĻļেāώে āĻŽাāĻ•াāĻŽে āχāĻŦ্āϰাāĻšিāĻŽেāϰ āĻĒেāĻ›āύে āĻĻুāχ āϰাāĻ•াāϤ āύাāĻŽাāϜ āφāĻĻা⧟ āĻ•āϰুāύ।

English:
After Tawaf, pray 2 rakats of Salah behind Maqam Ibrahim, if possible.

  • In the first rakah, it is Sunnah to recite Surah Al-Kafirun,

  • In the second, Surah Al-Ikhlas.


🔹 ā§Ģ. āϜāĻŽāϜāĻŽ āĻĒাāύি āĻĒাāύ (Drink Zamzam Water)

āĻŦাংāϞা:
āύাāĻŽাāϜ āĻļেāώে āϜāĻŽāϜāĻŽ āĻĒাāύি āĻĒাāύ āĻ•āϰুāύ āĻ“ āĻĻো⧟া āĻ•āϰুāύ।

English:
Drink Zamzam water and make du’a, as it is blessed and accepted.

  • You may say:

“O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, abundant provision, and cure from all diseases.”


🔹 ā§Ŧ. āϏাāĻĢা-āĻŽাāϰāĻ“ā§Ÿা āϏাāψ (Sa’i – Walking between Safa & Marwah)

āĻŦাংāϞা:
āϏাāĻĢা āĻĨেāĻ•ে āĻŽাāϰāĻ“ā§Ÿা āĻĒāϰ্āϝāύ্āϤ ā§­ āĻŦাāϰ āϚāϞাāĻĢেāϰা āĻ•āϰāϤে āĻšā§Ÿ। āĻāϟি āĻšāϝāϰāϤ āĻšাāϜেāϰা (āφ.)-āĻāϰ āϏ্āĻŽৃāϤি।

English:
Sa’i is walking seven times between Safa and Marwah hills.

  • Start at Safa.

  • Recite this verse upon starting:

    “Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah.” (Qur’an 2:158)

  • Go Safa → Marwah = 1,
    Marwah → Safa = 2, until 7 laps are completed, ending at Marwah.

  • Men jog between the green lights.


🔹 ā§­. āϚুāϞ āĻ•াāϟা (Halq or Taqsir – Shaving or Shortening the Hair)

āĻŦাংāϞা:
āĻ“āĻŽāϰাāĻš āĻļেāώে āĻĒুāϰুāώāϰা āĻŽাāĻĨা āĻŽুāĻŖ্āĻĄাāĻŦে (āĻšাāϞāĻ•) āĻŦা āϚুāϞ āĻ›োāϟ āĻ•āϰāĻŦে (āĻ•āϏāϰ)। āύাāϰীāϰা āϏাāĻŽাāύ্āϝ āϚুāϞ āĻ•েāϟে āĻĢেāϞāĻŦে।

English:
After completing Sa’i:

  • Men: Either shave the entire head (Halq) or shorten the hair all over (Taqsir).

  • Women: Cut a small portion (about 1 inch) from the end of their hair.


✅ āĻ“āĻŽāϰাāĻš āĻļেāώ! (Umrah Completed!)

At this point, your Umrah is complete, and you can now change out of Ihram. You are no longer bound by its restrictions.


📝 Bonus: Common Dhikr & Duas During Umrah

  • “SubhanAllah” – Glory be to Allah

  • “Alhamdulillah” – All praise is due to Allah

  • “Allahu Akbar” – Allah is the Greatest

  • “Astaghfirullah” – I seek forgiveness from Allah

  • “Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanah…” (Qur’an 2:201)

  • Always be respectful and patient with fellow pilgrims.
